So today marks the 70th anniversary of Anne Frank’s final diary entry. Respect it by making out with someone because that is a totally reasonable thing to do.

One of my favorite things about Noah is that they don’t say God in the movie. I’m not saying this as any attack on religion. I’m a Chrisitan, but I’m also a big movie fan. Just part of me appreciates that he is referred to as The Creator in the movie.

It always surprises me when people get so upset about that fact about the movie. In my mind, it’s people trying to look for reasons to not like the movie and close themself off from it.

God is such a modern term, and is a word used in a language that I don’t believe is that old. I’m willing to be that there would’ve been an even bigger outrage if they referred to him as Allah in the movie, even though the story of Noah is one of the foundations of all the Abrahamic religions.

God means Allah, not the other way around,

And even then, I doubt that was the word for God back in those days, The Creator is a nice term that feels accurate for the setting, and speaks a lot more in my mind than if they said God.
